CraftBook/Minecart features

From SK's Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

CraftBook has a number of minecart features.

Contents

Pressure plates

When minecarts pass over pressure plates, they will be given a continual speed boost so as they don't come to a complete stop.

Coasting

When a minecart is unoccupied, a speed boost will be applied so that minecarts do not come to a stop so quickly. (Occupied minecarts keep momentum far longer in Minecraft by default.).

In-cart control

  • When a minecart is not moving, hitting a minecart while in it will cause it to go in the direction that you are looking towards. This is not always accurate so you may have to find a sweet spot.
  • If a minecart is moving, hitting it while in it will bring it to a dead stop.

Empty minecart decay

Empty minecarts can be given a time to live. If a minecart is unoccupied by any player for longer than a specified delay, then the minecart will be removed from world. The check is performed every three seconds and thus it may take three seconds longer than the specified delay before a minecart is removed. Storage and powered minecarts are also affected, and minecarts in unloaded chunks are unaffected.

Minecart removal on exit

CraftBook can be configured to remove minecarts when a player exits one. It can also be configured to give the player the minecart as an item as well.
