Mob spawner

The MC1200 spawns a mob in the first free space above the block behind the IC sign when the input (the "clock") goes from low to high.

Warning: Spawning too many mobs can cause both severe network and server lag. Do not connect a mob spawner IC to a rapid clock unless you have prepared for the consequences. Be sure to not create a potential loop where a spawned mob can trigger the spawning of another mob (perhaps through a pressure plate).

Sign parameters

  • Third line: Mob name to spawn.
  • Fourth line: Data*amount or Data or *Amount

Mob types

The following mobs can be used. Note that animals can only be spawned if farm animals are enabled and monsters can only be spawned if monsters are enabled.

  • Chicken
  • Cow
  • Creeper
  • Enderman
  • EnderDragon
  • Ghast
  • Giant
  • Lavaslime
  • Monster (hostile human)
  • Pig
  • PigZombie
  • Sheep
  • Skeleton
  • Slime
  • Spider
  • Villager
  • Wolf
  • Zombie
  • Plus any more added in future updates.

Warning: Ghasts can be spawned, but be aware that getting rid of them may be a challenge. Spawning an EnderDragon on a clock will cause many issues.

Data types

The following data could be used:

  • Living Mobs
    • health:amount (Sets health to amount)
    • stay (Makes an entity not able to despawn)
    • despawn (Makes an entity able to despawn)
  • Animals:
    • baby
    • babylock (Makes the animal permanently a baby)
  • Creeper:
    • charged
  • PigZombie:
    • angry
  • Pig
    • Saddle
  • Sheep:
    • color
  • Slime/Lavaslime:
    • huge
    • large
    • normal
    • small
    • size:amount (Custom size setting)
  • Skeleton
    • Wither
  • Villager:
    • butcher
    • smith
    • priest
    • library
    • farmer
  • Wolf:
    • tame
    • angry
    • collar:hex colour (Eg, #FFFFFF is white)
  • Enderman
    • block:ID
  • TNT
    • fuse:time in tick
    • yield:radius (Explosion radius)
    • fire (If the explosion makes fire)
  • Arrow
    • bounce (If the arrow bounces off of objects)
    • fire (If the arrow is on fire)
  • Thrown Exp Bottle
    • If it bounces off of objects.
